The re-design of Sylvania's light bulb package brings a friendlier shelf presence through the use of basic informative graphics. The unique shape of the package and bright colors across all three stock keeping units (SKUs) grabs attention, while also maintaining the functions to protect and inform. The hexagonal shape of the packaging fits tight with others, allowing for more efficient packing and transporting. With the idea of luminosity, the packaging opens up in all directions, showing the bright color, the same way actual light behaves when turned on.
